We believe in the one Eternal God, God the Father. The Son and the Holy Spirit (Gen 1:1; Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28:19.)
We believe that there is only one saviour and one Lord and only one Gospel through which man can/should be saved. Jesus Christ offers Ultimate salvation. Acts 4:10-12; Rom1:16, Heb7:25
The Father sent his spirit to bear witness to his son; without his witness ours is futile. Conviction of sin, faith in the Christ, New birth and Christian growth are all his work. Acts 1:8
All Believers are entitled to, should ardently expect, and earnestly seek the Promise of the Father, the Baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire, accord¬ing to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 2:1-4
The Baptism of Believers with the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with others Tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance. (Acts 2:4; I Cor. 12:4-10, 28)
Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil, and of dedica¬tion unto God. The Scriptures teach a life of “holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord”. By the Power of the Holy Spirit we are able to obey the command: “Be ye holy; for I am Holy”. 1 Thess. 5:23
We believe the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both Old and New Testament scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error of faith and practice. 2 Tim 3:16
Angels are created as intelligent and powerful spirit beings to do the will God and worship him. They are also ministering spirits to man. Ps 103:20, Ps 104:4
The man was created good and upright, However, man by voluntary transgression fell and, thereby, incurred not only physical death but also Spiritual Death, which is separation from God (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:17; 3:6; Rom. 5:12-19).
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. Rom 10:9-10
We believe in the church as a living, spiritual body of which Christ is the head; And of which all regenerate people of this age are a part; Governed by Pastor(s), Apostle(s), Evangelist(s), Teacher(s) Prophet(s) who are assisted by "Elder(s)" and/or "Bishop(s)" and Deacons, within the Local Church. Whose qualifications, claims and duties are defined in the Epistles to Timothy and Titus. Eph. 4:11-13
Divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all Believers. (Isa. 53:4-5; Mat. 8:16-17; James 5:14-16).
We affirm that Christ sends His redeemed people into the world as the Father sent Him The church is at the very Centre of God’s cosmic purpose and it's His appointed means of preaching and spreading the Gospel. Mat 16:15-18
We rejoice that anew missionary era has dawned. Not only is the west evangelizing but the whole body of Christ more so from Africa (once known as a dark continent). We also thank God for agencies which labour in Bible translation, theological education, the mass media, Christian literature, evangelism, missions, Church renewal and other specialist fields (Rom. 1:8; Phil. 1:5; Acts 13:1-3, I Thess. 1:6-8)
The development of strategies for world evangelism calls for imaginative pioneering methods. Under God, the results will be the rise of Churches deeply rooted in Christ and closely related to their culture. Culture must always be tested and judged by scriptures. The Gospel does not presuppose the superiority of any culture to another, but evaluates all cultures according to its own criteria of truth and righteousness, and insists on moral absolutes in every culture. Rom12:2
We recognize that there is a great need to improve theological education, especially church leaders. In every nation and culture, there should be effective training programs for pastors and laity in doctrine, discipleship, evangelism, nurture and service. 2 Tim 2:15
We believe that we are engaged in constant spiritual warfare with principalities and powers of evil, who are seeking to overthrow the church and frustrate its task of world evangelism. Eph. 6:10-16
We believe it is the God-appointed duty of every government to secure conditions of peace, justice and liberty in which the Church may obey God, serve the Lord Jesus Christ, and preach the gospel without interference. We also express our deep concern for all who have been unjustly imprisoned, and especially for those who are suffering for their testimony to the Lord Jesus Christ. We should remain faithful to the Gospel, whatever the cost. We do not forget the warnings of Jesus that persecution is inevitable. John 16:33
We believe that Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly, in glory and power, to consummate his salvation and his judgment. Tit 2:13
The Second Coming of Christ includes the rapture of the saints, which is our blessed hope, followed by the visible return of Christ with his saints to reign on the Earth for one thousand years (Mat. 24:27, 30; Rev.19:11-14; 20:1-6). This Millennial Reign will bring the Salvation of Israel (Ezek. 37:21-22; Zeph. 3:19-20; Rom. 11:26-27) and the establishment of universal peace (Ps. 72:3-8; Isa. 11:6-9; Mic. 4:3-4)
There will be a final Judgement in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the Devil and his angels, the beast, and the false prophet will be consigned to everlasting punishment in “the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death” (Rev. 21:8; see also Mat. 25:46; Mk. 9:43-48; Rev. 19:20; 20:11-15)
The Word of God teaches us that after judgment, this wicked world will be removed. God will create a new Heaven and a new earth in which HOLINESS will exist - Matt. 24:35; II Peter 3:12-13; Rev. 21:1-3; Is. 65:17; 66:22. “We, according to His Promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth Righteousness” (II Pet. 3:13; see also Rev.21-22).
